The nursery is finally finished! We are so excited to welcome Jake & Lilly! Cody put his artistic abilities to work when he painted the wooden letters that spell out the babies’ names.
He also transferred this beautiful vinyl quote above the closet door which is a daily reminder of just how precious these two gifts are to us.
Both babies have their very own growth chart.
It will be a while before they can stand and measure their height, but when the time comes, we’ll be ready!
The rocker by the window is the very same one that Cody’s mom {Grammy} rocked him in more than 30 years ago.
My favorite thing in the nursery is this white rocking horse.
We actually have one for each baby, but will wait to pull the other one out until they are old enough to enjoy them!
I just can’t believe that in just a few weeks, we will be welcoming them home.
It has seemed like such a long time that we’ve waited for them, and now looking back over the past nine months, time has really flown by.
I know these last several days will go by so quickly while we are still trying to take care of those last minute “To Do List” items!
We have a scheduled induction date of July 12.
Hopefully, Jake and Lilly decide to wait until then to make their big debut!
